2/3/2018 0 Reacties Lipstick TutorialEven women who use little makeup invariably feel better when they have applied a coat of lip makeup. The trouble is – and most women will agree, if you don’t wear much makeup trying to find a shade of lipstick you like is a full-time occupation – not to mention attempting to find a lipstick manufacturer that you particularly like. You see an advert on TV for the perfect lipstick, go and buy it but find, once you apply the best lipstick yourself, that it’s no better than many of the others you’ve tried. In the end you wonder whether your lips just aren’t responding to the adverts’ promises – or the products just aren’t coming up to expectation. How to find the Right Lipstick for You So, how do you find the perfect lipstick, or is the perfect pout always going to be just outside of your reach? Well, you’re in luck because we’re going to discuss these problems in this makeup tutorial. Lipstick is partly about texture and partly about color and, once you have got this right, it’s all about how long the lipstick will stay on your lips and, if it doesn’t stay put, what you can do about it. Women need to have far more knowledge about lip makeup at their fingertips to be able to make educated choices about the most suitable and appropriate product for them. So, whereas shopping online sounds attractive and, for most products is ideal, lip makeup really needs to be experienced first-hand prior to purchase in order to attain the most satisfactory purchase. Lipstick Shades When it comes to lipstick makeup there is so much choice, even with red – there is no such thing as ‘simply red’: when it comes to lipstick makeup there are hundreds of shades of red, some classed as cool reds and others classed as hot reds. Red Lipstick on Lips Despite these distinctions, however, red remain the sexiest lip color you can use and, contrary to most people’s opinion, there are few women who are unable to wear red lipstick. The general consensus is that if you have green eyes, or eyes that are brown or hazel, then warm reds will suit you. If, however, your eyes are grey or blue you should stick to cool reds – then it starts to get complicated because your skin tone may also affect which red will suit you. Warm Reds and Cool Reds Warm reds tend to include the rust tones or orange shades whilst the cool reds look like fuchsia red or the more purpley-reds because they have more blue added to the base color. As people’s skin tones vary so much the best way to see which of these lipstick colors suit you is to use a tester and apply some lip makeup to your lips. You will get a better idea if the color is right by cleaning your teeth before you go shopping for new lip makeup and by moisturizing your lips prior to trying a color on your lips. Reapplication is Essential To finish this makeup tutorial, you need to be aware that lipstick needs to be reapplied once the color on your lips takes on a bluish hint. This signifies that a further application is required. When lipstick begins to wear during use it separates out into its base components, the part of the lip makeup that adheres to your lips and the chemical compounds that create the true color you see in your lipstick holder: these chemicals have a blue tinge. In order to avoid this occurring when you wear lip makeup, try to avoid licking or picking at your lips and apply your lipstick to clean, moisturized lips. No lipstick anywhere adheres to your lips as they once did since there are now fewer stains involved. However, to help your lip makeup to stay as long as possible blot you lipstick with a couple of tissues, apply another layer of lipstick and then blot again: this helps to remove the oils in the lipstick and enables the residue to remain in place on your lips for far longer. Bronzer should only go where the sun hits your face; the nose, forehead, chin and apples of the cheeks. Concealer should be applied lower than the bottom lash line. Light reflects upward, so this will brighten dark circles. Mascara should be applied to the base of the lash line. After hours of mascara sitting on the tips, it wears heavy and makes beautifully curled lashes fall. Blush should be dabbed on the apples and blended outwards with fingertips. To avoid the “clown look,” do not apply blush to the center of your cheeks. Beauty Blog |
